For Christmas breakfast I decided to make it easy on myself so I put together these sausage "Mc" muffins. What a treat, quick to make and easier to clean up!!
"Every letter makes a sound" Kenzie loves to play with this and we can be in the kitchen at the same time and sing some tunes!!
MMMM TOOLS AND CARTOONS!This is Justin being spoiled!!
Every year I have a visitor come to stay with me for a few days during the season. It camps out on the right side of my face and is always a festive red colour. It wouldn't be Christmas without it!!

The friday before Christmas, we went to Rob and Steph's for a family Christmas party. They were wonderful hosts and we had a great time! Rob insisted that nobody was cooking, so KFC it was. After dinner we opened our gifts and played 80's Trivial Pursuit. We teamed up Boys against the Girls and the boys spanked us!! Never play that game WITHOUT Justin on your team, he knows everything about the 80's.

This was the first attempt to sit on Santa's knee. As you can see, she was very unfamilar with him. She didn't even crack a smile but she never cried so that's a good thing!!
This is one of the girls from my Activity Night group. Mackenzie loves her! Jessie took over and played with her all night! What a break for me!!
In line getting ready to meet Santa.
Even though she dissed the "Big Guy" she still scored some yummy treats!

Justin asked me the other day when we were going to take Kenzie to see Santa and get her picture taken with him. We realized that it was 3 days before Christmas and he would be heading back to the North Pole soon so we headed down to the mall for a visit. When she first saw him, she played a little shy (which is not like her) but warmed up to him quickly. He really is a jolly old soul!!! Afterwards, when we tried to leave the mall, she ran under the velvet ropes shouting "bye Tanta, bye Tanta"!

Today was such a beautiful day that I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take Kenzie for a sleigh ride. She loved it!!
She kept pulling her mittens off and then I would have to kiss them till they were warm.
We had a wonderful time!! I sure hope it doesn't chinook so we can keep going for some fun rides!!

The church hosted a Trunk or Treat for all the primary kids. I think it is wonderful especially for the little ones who can only handle so much trick or treating. Mackenzie pooped out after a row of cars but good ol dad carried her the rest of the way. He should have, do you think she's eating all that candy!!!!
Kenzie loves our neighbour Christine.

My friend Stephanie hosted a Halloween Party for the kids and they had a blast! She made yummy sandwiches and popcorn balls and the rest of the mom's brought a bunch of other treats. After all the catering that I have been doing it was a real treat for me to play with Mackenzie and spend sometime with my friends!!

On a recent evening, we discovered that Mackenzie was spending too much time in the basement by herself. When dad went to check on her, he discovered that she had been busy emptying the paper shredder! She then proceeded to fill his shoes with the shredded paper (probably because winters coming).
The enterprising infant was kind enough to pose with her work project!

Blowing bubbles with Derek.
Family Picture.
This was more fun for Mackenzie and Madison than watching the wedding ceremony.
