LETS GO FLY A KITE!
A couple of weeks ago Justin bought a kite. So my wish was to fly it on my birthday. It was a beautiful day but the ironic thing was that there was no wind! We decided to play in the park for a while and see if anything changed. You know what they say in Lethbridge "if you don't like the weather just wait a minute". In about 20 mins a big gust of wind blew through the park and we knew we hit the jackpot! Isn't he a beauty! Justin named him TROGDOR. CELEBRATION WITH JESS
Before the party at my place, Jess and I went to Wal-mart to pick up a few things. She actually tricked me by telling me that she had to get some lego for her kindergarten class. We headed down the hair dye aisle (yes our hair isn't natural) and she handed me this poem. The week before Mackenzie pulled my makeup bag into the tub and I was left with basically a mascara and some foundation. Jess helped me pick out some new makeup and toilettries. Thanks Mom and Jess for a great gift!!!!!

TWO BIRTHDAYS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!
Kenzie with auntie Amber and cousin Jordan opening up her gifts.
Mackenzie loves Jordan the best. I think it's because she's the only one who will play for hours with her. She's lucky to have her in her life!!!

MY NEW BEST FRIEND!
Grandpa is Mackenzie's new best friend! She bawled every time he left the room and refused to go to anyone else while he was holding her. I would say "Kenzie come see Momma" and she would give me this funny look and shake her head back and forth and lean closer into my Dad. She even dissed her own Daddy after comming home from work. We waited at the door and then my dad said "go see daddy" and she quickly turned around and clung onto my Dad's sweater. Justin's nose was bent out of shape a little even though he won't admit it!
