ANNUAL ZOO TRIP

We have been taking Kenzie to the zoo since she was one and this was our best year!! It was way more fun knowing that she really got it and asked lots of questions about the animals. Her most favorite thing was the train ride, which she went on twice. Just after her second ride on the train a huge thunder storm rolled in and drenched the park and all it's visitors. We spent 10 mins under a tree trying to stay dry and then ran into the main food area to wait out the storm. I still wish we had gotten some pictures of the rain, it was awesome!! After the rain finished the sun came back out and we continued exploring. It was a fantastic day, one we won't forget!!

Kenzie thought the seagulls were part of the park!! I was thinking "look at those black clouds".

Kenzie's favorite thing about the elephant was the enormous POOP it left on the ground. After asking a hundred times why they pooped she said "that's DISGUSTING".

This is as close to the lions we got. Every year they hide on us and we never get a good look. Maybe we should try going in May when it's not so hot!!

The gorillas were fascinating!! The best was the baby gorilla that started doing the cutest little tricks for the crowds and everyone was busting a gutt. I wanted to take it home with me!
