PARK LAKE

Mackenzie and I spent the day with some friends at Park Lake.

It's a little man made lake right in the middle of farm land just NW of Lethbridge. We all brought lunch and lots of treats for the kids. It was a wonderful day!

As we were watching the kids play in the lake, Kenzie decided that she wanted to be one of the big kids and just keep walking deeper into the water. My friend looked at me and said "you better get ready to run". I carefully watched her for a few more seconds and then broke into a sprint. I grabbed her just as she was going under. One day she'll be an olympic swimmer just not today!!!

THE TRAMPOLINE

My parents gave us the trampoline that filled our family with tons of summer fun! Mackenzie thinks it's a riot!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

OUR OWN WATERPARK

Since we don't have the lovely beaches and water holes that I have been fortunate to have in the past I wanted to create a fun backyard for Kenzie. Now she has a fun place to play and stay cool for the summer!

Did I mention her own water fountain!

She's even mastering the slide.

I love to see that she enjoys the water just as much as I do.

Even after we dumped the water out and leaned the pool on the side of the house she wasn't ready to come in.
