BATMAN'S BIRTHDAY!!

Is it to late to throw a Batman party for a "old man"?? Never!!!! Can you believe I even pulled off the surprise!! Rob, Stephanie, Jess, Michael, Cindy and Haylee were waiting in the backyard and I asked Justin to go and take the meat off the bbq and SURPRISE!!! We had a wonderful time visting, eating and sitting by the fire. Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating with us!!!

Some of our guests

I guess the jokes on me now!!!

Why take small bites, it's a party!!!

I even had "grown up" loot bags. The reese peanut butter cup was in the shape of a bat!!

Kenzie and her bestfriend Haylee.

It's a love-hate relationship. Every few minutes, someone has to give the other a hug for being mean. This time it was Kenzie's turn.

You can't have a Batman party without bat burgers, mini penguin wings and Gotham's famous potato skins.

Do you think Rob is enjoying the wings???

Justin recieved some very thoughtful gifts. Thanks!!!

A BIG BIRTHDAY KISS FOR DAD-O!!!!

Playing some harmless toss the football...

...until Michael landed a winner right in the @#$!!**#!!

It was such a nice evening!!

MACKENZIE'S FIRST OFFICIAL HAIR CUT

I figured it was time to take Kenzie in for a real hair cut instead of the usual "bang" cut she gets. What a treat, she absolutely loved it!!! She sat so still and did every thing the hairdresser asked her to do. The salon itself was fantastic!! They have cute things for the kids to sit on and have tv's right in front of them to keep them focussed. Kenzie got to pick what she wanted to watch and picked the pink jeep to sit in. She was so serious while the girl was cutting her hair, it was totally halarious!!!

The girl was so impressed how still she sat. I love how serious she looks here!!!

They also have a ball pit for the kids to play in. They host parties there and I'm really considering having Kenzie's 3rd birthday here. They do up-do's, manicures and makeup for the girls and I think it would be a hoot!!!

After she put a little pony tail in she asked Kenzie if she wanted some glitter in her hair. Auntie Jessa came with us and she bought Kenzie her own nail polish for being so good!!!

A STOP IN YAHK

We've driven through Yahk a million times and have never stopped. This time we thought what the heck!! Kenzie watched the goats at the soap shop go up and down there ramp she even scored some new bracelets and we had some delicious icecream!!

Baby's got blue eyes!!!

After our icecream we followed a trail leading to the river. It was beautiful and refreshing!!

Isin't it crazy that the most unlikely stops turn out to be the best ones!!!

MOM AND DAD'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY

We all gathered in Castlegar B.C. to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary. We rented this adorable, fully stocked hall 5 minutes from mom and dad's place and had a party!! It was so fun to reunite with family and friends, eat some amazing food (I helped cook it!!) and dance with our children. Thanks for showing us the love mom and dad!! You're an inspiration to all of us!!! These pictures are in random order. Anyone who blogs knows that it takes awhile to put everything in order. Enjoy!!!

Cutting a rug with my favorite sister!!! Jess put all the music together for our party. She did a fabulous job!!

Guess who put the program together?? My Bros were halarious!!

Dancing with Princess Mackenzie.

My cousin Sarah and her boyfriend, Grady, played with the kids forever!! We sure appreciated it!!

If there's one thing Kenzie loves it's to boogie!!

The newest addition to the family and she's so cute we're gonna keep her!!

My parents colors were red and white. I had to make cupcakes to keep with the theme of things.

This girl loves to cook!!!

My dad surprised everyone and dressed up as "The King"and sang "can't help falling in love with you" to my mom. He gave the performance of his life!!! Some people even thought that he was lip syncing. Jessie helped him with the amazing costume. You could say she Bedazzled her heart out!!! On the back of the cape it said "Bernice is a Babe". You are the KING dad!!!

Who's kidding who!!! These two can out work any one of us!!!

Oh Yah, the MEAT!!!

These are my parents original wedding outfits. Rob and Andi were the only ones who fit them!!!
